Even after heavy pressure from Hospitals, Disability Advocates and even Michigan’s Republican Govenor the Michigan Senate has chosen not to vote on the Medicaid Expansion under the Affordable Healthcare Act also known as Obamacare and instead go on summer vacation.  Michigan’s Govenor Rick Snyder cut short a trade meeting in Israel to come back Wednesday and push for Michigan’s republican controlled senate to vote for the Medicad Expansion the the republican controlled house voted for as well.  Just minutes ago Rick Snyder, Michigan’s Govenor held a press conference where he shared that a vote today – the last day before the summer break is unlikely to happen.

When Gov Snyder was asked if he was angry about the Senate not voting he replied, “I wouldn’t say I’m angry…but this isn’t my normal demeanor.”
