2014 Social Security COLA Increase Announcement Delayed

social security cutThe 2014 Social Security COLA Increase has been delayed until October 30th according to government sources.  The anticipated 1.5 percent cost of living adjustment increase is usually published and announced in early to mid october of every year, however this year the official announcement is being delayed due to the government shutdown.

The COLA Increase for 2013 was 1.7 percent.
