2016 Medicare Premiums Go Up, No COLA Increase

The Premiums that people pay for Medicare in 2016 Are going up in 2016 all this while there is no Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) Increase this year from Social Security. Last years Medicare Part B Premium was $104.90 for most people that receive Social Security Disability.  This year that premium increases to $121.80 a month.

This increase is going to substantially hurt those that receive Social Security and live month to month.  Its a slap in the face to not have a COLA Cost Adjustment, but yet increase the premiums for Medicare Part B.  It is my feeling that this is directly related to the costs for government subsidized healthcare for more people under the Affordable Healthcare Act.
