82 Thousand Dollars Raised for Chicago Hate Crime Victim

The Internet has raised $82,000 for a disabled man in Chicago that was tortured for hours.  The victim of the hate crime in Chicago has a GoFundMe dedicated to him.  According to NPR and the associated press the campaign has been vetted by the site as authentic and money will be going to the victim.
According to the latest update posted on the the campaign the family has also opened a PO BOX for those that are interested in supportive cards, letters and gifts.

For those that have asked about sending cards in the mail, the family has established an official P.O. Box and cards can be sent to:

Austin
P.O. Box 641
Cary, Illinois 60013

For those that want to send something but aren’t sure what, I have been told that Austin’s favorite sports team is the Chicago Bulls.
